After a reunion of former members of Mobile Construction Battalion
Seven in 1991, several of the members elected to create an Island MCB 7
At Large.
Many of us were already members of Navy
Seabee Veterans of America.
NSVA Island MCB 7 at Large was chartered at the NSVA National Convention
in 1992, the 50th anniversary of the Seabees. We are “at large” because
we have no home base or address.
We hold a single annual meeting, held at the annual national convention,
in which the Island’s business is discussed and officers are elected.
For 2008, there are 99 members of the Island
of which 79 are Life
